Here are pictures of a home made power supply that I built by modifying an old PC power supply.  I got if free from our local transfer
station (dump).   It has more than enough power to drive any charger on the market.  There are a number of different supplies out there
with low, medium and high power output (+12v current rating).  This one is rated at 6 amps but some are rated for as much as 20 amps.
